Qualifications:
- 2 years of quality related work experience.
- Possess a working knowledge of blue-print reading and GD&T
- Must be able to utilize Micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gages, optical comparator, CMM Operation, Production Fixture/Gages
- Knowledge of calibration principals and methods
- Experience with SPC, stamping and welding processes is a plus.
-Computer Literate – working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Windows, Database experience desired.
Responsibilities:
- 65% – 70% will be spent inspecting/testing parts on the floor or in the CMM room.
- 25% – 30% performance calibration activity
- Support production facility to qualify new and current jobs running by evaluating product as required by the Anchor procedures and instructions
- Operate CMM to support production requirements, which includes: Run production parts as required by the quality standards, evaluating reports and determining if parts are to specifications, and assist die repair and operators in reading CMM report in order to troubleshoot parts,
- Review all documents issued to production to ensure correct revisions and instructions
- Following set-up of jobs, check first piece samples for conformance to quality standard requirements
- Instruct machine operator on proper methods of checking parts and assist in the proper recording of inspection and testing results
- Assist in containment and disposition of defective or suspect material using MRN procedure
