Qualifications:
- Must have a 10 year minimum electrical background.
- Must have a strong electrical background with: Punch press controls, Programming PLC’s and associated equipment, Motor drive controls, Automated equipment and Robot controls.
- Capable of designing and drawing electrical prints.
- Must know how to build control panels, have a strong understanding of various types of sensors, and is familiar with the National electrical code.
Responsibilities:
- Engineering and development of electrical systems and building Electrical Control panels for new and existing equipment.
- Develop PLC & HMI programs for new and existing equipment.
- Monitor costs of electrical supplies being purchased to ensure Anchor receives the best price.
- Troubleshoot and repair of electrical breakdowns on all equipment.
- Responsible to keep all machine PLC and HMI programs backed up and properly saved to the network.
- Hours will be from 7:00-5:00 Monday thru Friday. Additional hours as needed to support Manufacturing and projects.
