Qualifications:

  1. Must have a 10 year minimum electrical background.
  2. Must have a strong electrical background with: Punch press controls, Programming PLC’s and associated equipment, Motor drive controls, Automated equipment and Robot controls.
  3. Capable of designing and drawing  electrical prints.
  4. Must know how to build control panels, have a strong understanding of various types of sensors, and is familiar with the National electrical code.

Responsibilities:

  • Engineering and development of electrical systems and building Electrical Control panels for new and existing equipment.
  • Develop PLC & HMI programs for new and existing equipment.
  • Monitor costs of electrical supplies being purchased to ensure Anchor receives the best price.
  • Troubleshoot and repair of electrical breakdowns on all equipment.
  • Responsible to keep all machine PLC and HMI programs backed up and properly saved to the network.
  • Hours will be from 7:00-5:00 Monday thru Friday. Additional hours as needed to support Manufacturing and projects.
