1. Complete a 4 year Apprenticeship Program or Equivalent experience is a must.

2. Must be certified by the State of Ohio or equal training by another state.

3. Own their own tools, and have knowledge of basic tool room equipment and machinery is preferred.

4. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently on a daily basis

Capable of building and assembling all sizes of progressive and single station dies for the auto and appliance industries.

Proficient at trouble shooting new and used tools and possess the skills to develop, try out and debug new tooling to become production ready.

Document all changes to original die design and continuously look for ways to improve processes in appropriate forms.

Work alongside the Tool Room Supervisor to provide weekly updates on the status of the tool, the percentage of completion, and the number of hours yet to be completed.

Perform daily clean up in their work areas and after using machinery.

Operate press equipment during tryout.
